"Let's Party" Robot card

Hello Friends, hope you are all doing well!!  I want to apologize  for not posting anything for the last week but I have just been so busy!!!  My parents were having work done at their house so I spent a lot of time over there with them and really to tell the truth the weather was so unbearable with the temperatures reaching 100 +, I really had no energy left by the time I could actually get in my craft room to create!!!  But don't worry, I made up for it today!!  I have been in my craft room for most of the day cleaning up and creating!  First off, I have to tell you about the awesome deals I got this week at A.C. Moore and Michaels Crafts.  Both stores had Cricut cartridges on sale, some carts that are discontinued and just older ones that they wanted to get rid of.  I bought 4 carts for $20.00 each and 2 limited addition summer collection carts for $12.49, that's 6 cartridges for $105.00...I mean come on, that's a great deal!!  Finally I feel like my cartridge library is growing and that I have plenty of ones to choose from.  So for today's card I used Robots, one of my new carts, to make my middle son Blake a card for his birthday next week.  I think it came out soo cute!!  I just love how it all came together, colors and all!!

I am entering this into K.Andrews at Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge.
Well I hope you enjoyed it and stay tuned tomorrow for another card that I made today!!
Until then Happy Craftin!!

Happy Anniversary!!

Hello to all my wonderful Bloggie friends, hope you all had a great weekend!!  Thank God we are finally over the massive heat wave here on the east coast, it really became unbearable!!  Good thing we had our pool to keep us cool!!  Since it was so hot out it gave me the perfect oppertunity to swtay in and get some crafting done.  Today I want to show you the card I made for my parents.  They celebrated their 44th Wedding Anniversary last week.  I used some really great Glittery paper, not sure who makes it but I did get it at Target.  I think it came out really nice.

I am so luck to have parents that have lasted the test of time and are still in love as much as the day they met.  To my wonderful parents, we Love you!!

Until next time Happy Craftin!!

I hope you have enjoyed my little bug as much as I do!!

You can also see this and other wonderful projects over at "You Had Me at Crafts" for the "Made it Myself Mondays" challenge!!

My Sweet Bug

Hello Bloggie friends, hope you are all having a great Sunday!!  Today I want to share a Scrapbook Layout of my absolutely beautiful son!!  He is the youngest of my 3 and the most spoiled!!  He came into this world with a Gusto but as he got older he just didn't develope like he should have.  He didn't hit any of the usual milestones and that made me worry!!  I already had 2 kids so I knew when he should do certain things, but he just didn't!!  After arguing with my husband (this baby is the child of my second marriage, it was my husbands first) I called in Early Intervention to have him evaluated. We went to all of the Specialty doctors, you know the Neurologist, the Orthopedist, the hearing specialist and so on.  Low and behold, after tons of tests there is still no explanation for the delays!!  We did get a diagnosis of Hypotonia with joint weakness which is in other words low muscle tone with extreme double jointedness!!  He can do unbelievable things with his little fingers and feet, he can actually flip his tounge over completely!!  Because of the low muscle tone he needed a lot of thearapy!!  My little bug was receiving Physical thearapy, Ocupational thearapy, Speach thearapy and Developemental Intervention.  Five months before he was to turn 3 he took his first steps on his own!!  I can't even tell you how excited I was that day, when he walked from the living room to his room!!  I almost passed out!!  Sure it has not been an easy road but having him in our lives has been the most rewarding and blessed thing and I would not change it for anything in this world!  I believe God gave him to us for a reason, we were meant to be his parents, to take care of him.  All I know is that I couldn't live without him and his wonderful personality.  He truely is such a happy boy!!  I know that in time, in God's time, he will be able to do all the things that the other kids can do but until then, we learn as we go!!  So without further ado...My Sweet Bug!!

Can't beat that smile!!

Hope you enjoyed!!  Happy Sunday and Happy Craftin!!

Fabulous Smile Layout!

Okay, as I promised earlier, I finished the Scrapbook Layout this evening so here it is.  This scrapbook page is of my daughter and her FABULOUS Smile!!  She is a blonde haired, blue eyed beauty with the greatest smile ever!!  She can be a bit of a poser, you know when messing around with her friends but when she smiles it is breath taking!!

I added Glossy Accents to the mirror to make it shine!!

The photo came out a little dark but you can kind of see that smile!!

I used the Cricuts Forever Young cartridge for cutting the mirror at 8"and Accent Essentials for the journaling box at 3" & 2 3/4" layered.
My Minds Eye "Everyday Tango" for the patterned paper and DCWV "Jewel Colored".
Pink fabric Thickers-By the Yard.
Flora Doodles by Petaloo.

I really need to find a better way to take my photo's!  Maybe need better lighting!  Anyway I hope you enjoy!!

Until next time Happy Craftin!!
