Busy day!!

Good morning to all.  What a busy day I have ahead of me today!!  We are having my son's 4th birthday party this Sat. and I have a ton to do to get the yard and house ready!!  I love having parties but dread preparing for them!!  As I was doing my surfing this morning I see that K. Happy Easter!!

Well another holiday has come and gone!!! I hope everyone who celebrates Easter had a wonderful holiday!! My family and I had a great day together, the weather was absolutely glorious and the food....yummy!!! I can hardly believe that the kids have to go back to school tomorrow!!
So I actually had some time to create a few cards this weekend even though we were getting ready for Easter. My son's 4th birthday is coming up on May 2nd so I decided to make him a card using the Create a Critter cartrige. There are sooo many cute images on this cartrige, I really had a hard time deciding which one to choose!! In the end I went with the Dinosaur, he is just too cute!!

card is 41/4 x 11in (not 81/4)

Well I started off the day trying to potty train my 4 year old son but that went down the tubes really fast!!!  Within the first 1/2 hour he had messed himself twice even though I had him in front of the potty with the cheerios floating in the bowl!!!  I don't think he is ready as of this moment!!  He is absolutely terrified of the potty!!  I really thought it would have been easier being he has an older brother and sister to learn from!!  Oh well, I will give him a day or two and try again!!  As for some fun stuff, I decided to go to Joann's yesterday with my Mom, daughter and son, in the pouring rain and wind, we had 50% off coupons that we wanted to use!!  I will put together a video of the great things I got and I will post it later on.  So until then enjoy your Sunday, God Bless and Happy Craftin!!

"Love Link Up" Blog Party

So I know I promised a video on Sunday but it took me a little while to edit and upload it!  It is now ready to go!!  The video is a step by step of the Easter card that I made for my family this year.  Sorry if it's hard to see some parts but I kept forgetting to make sure the card was in the eye of the camera!!  Promise that I will get better at it!

Sunday Morning!!!

     Good morning everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend, I know I am.  I want to appologize for not posting this last week!  Sometimes you just get caught up in all the everyday life stuff, especially with three kids, time just flies by!!!
     I want to send a shout out to Kristal Andrew of  "Getting Cricky with K. Andrew".  I want to thank her for having the Love Link Up Party last Thursday, I got to meet soo many new people and it sent soo many new people my way!  She is such a nice person and she always has such great things on her site.  Thank You Kristal for being an inspiration to soo many!!
     Also want to say thanks to Robyn at "My Pink Stamper" for having her My Pinkalicious Blog Hop Friday.  Robyn is the reason I sarted blogging, I was looking for ideas one day and happened to come upon her site and fell in love!!  She's just soo fun and cute, especially when she is with her bestie Karlee!!  She has a tremendous amount of videos and ideas on her site, and for those staring out it is a big help!!  Thank you Robyn!!

April Fools Day!!!

Well I really don't know where the week has gone but today is April Fools Day already!!  I have had a very busy week getting ready for the weekend..  We are going to have a little birthday party for a friends daughter tomorrow and I have been running around trying to pick some stuff up for her since her Dad bought her the Cricut Expression from A.C. Moore last week!!  He got such a great deal on it, it was on sale for $199 and it came with 4 cartridges, a mat and inks, how can you go wrong??  She's going to be sooooo suprised!!  The last time she was here she was having so much fun with mine.  Well anyway, I made her a card to put with her gift and I posted a picture of it below.  I hope you all had a great week.  Until next time, Happy crafting!!
