Oh, Your Cards are Gorgeous! Love the Santa Card! Awesome Job! My Christmas Wish is to have a wonderful Christmas with my Family! I am now following you. Thank You for the chance to win! :0)
Hello Bloggie Friends, Thank you for visiting my blog. Today is the Christmas Gift blog hop with Becka from Creations with Becka. If you came from Anna Beethen you are in the right place, if you just stopped by please start at the beginning of the hop at Creations With Becka at www.creationswithbecka.blogspot.com.
Okay, so today is going to be a fun day of great ideas for homemade Christmas gifts for the special people in your lives, like family, friends, co-workers and teachers. We thought it would be a great idea since times are rough to showcase all the different gift's you can made at home and for little money. Plus, I think homemade gift's are the best, because they really show how much you care and how much thought and effort you put into them.
I recently came upon these Washer necklaces on the internet and fell in Love with them and how easy they are to make!! Take a look, I have a video for you to watch.

Today all I want is to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! May your day be filled with loved one's and great food!! We all have soo much to be thankful for, I know that I am thankful for my family and friends all around the world.
The background paper is from one of the Holiday paper packs from My Mind's Eye, craft cardstock for base and scrap's of Paper Layerz and Stampin Up for the Polar Bear.
Now, to all my Bloggie friend's and family, I want to Wish you all a Wonderful, Blessed Thanksgiving!!
Where does the weekend go??? I can't believe how fast the day's go by!! And guess what??? I just realized that I have hit the 150 followers mark!! Whoo Hoo...this is sooo exciting!! When I hit 250 I will have a great Giveaway!! So please help me out and tell your friends to stop by and become a follower!!
So for todays card I made this cute little card using the "Crafty Friends" stamp set by K. Andrew Designs.
(ok, I had to cheat and write the "Oh" because I couldn't find one on any of the sets!!)
I used some left over Paper Layerz by Megan Elizabeth of Above Rubies Studio and some other patterned paper I had in my stash, some ribbon, flower brads, Stickles for the bow and Viva Decor to highlight the flowers.
It's Simply Sunday challenge time again!! This week we are Giving Thanks. I was having a major creative blog while working on this card so i reached out to my wonderful Getting Cricky Design Team for some help and let me tell you, they were full of so many great idea's. It is so amazing being a part of a team that is always there if you need them. I am truely Blessed to have them to turn to! I also want to thank Kristal for putting together such a wonderful, creative group of women, whithout Kristal we wouldn't have this terrific team!!
Okay, so onto my card. Christel Young Bonner of Scrappin Sista, one of my DT members gave me the link to Splitcoast Stampers (CLICK HERE TO SEE HOW TO MAKE YOURS) which had the directions on how to make the card that I did. Thank you Christel!! Shawn Mosch of Crafty Chic's helped me out with the clever sentiment. Thank you Shawn!!
Here it is, please let me know how you like it.
Front of card.
Inside of card.
I used Stampin Up paper for the base as well as their Bamboo background stamp. I also used Paper Layerz (CLICK HERE FOR PAPER LAYERZ) for the smaller square in the center and for the cute little Deer. The sentiment is from K. Andrew Design "Winter Wishes" stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to visit the rest of the Design Team to see what creative projects they have to share with you on this Simply Sunday!!

Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!
K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. My first card: Horizontal background
My second card: Vertical background
Both cards were made using backround paper from My Minds Eye-Wonderful Winter Pad, the base cards are just Craft cardstock that I purchaced at A.C. Moore and Simply Sage from Stampin Up. The ornaments and Santa are dimmentional stickers from a Christmas sticker sampler by Studio 112. I inked the edges and stamped the sentiments using StazOn Jet Black. I wanted to show how you can use the same backround paper and make it look different!
BLOG CANDY!!!
I have some Blog Candy for one lucky follower!!
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS:
1) Be a follower of my blog.
2) Leave me a message of what your Holiday Wish is.
Well it's that time of the month again when we get to Link Up some Love!! This week over at Getting Cricky we were asked to create something showing Thanks or Blessings.
Here's what I came up with!!
I cut the pumpkins from the Freshly Picked Cricut cart at 3 1/4 and 3", used Paper Layers by Megan Elizabeth and the sentiment is from the Fall-o-Ween stamp set by K. Andrew Designs.
Well, I finally had some time to craft this week and everytime I sat down to start creating Christmas kept popping into my head!! I get soooo excited knowing that Christmas is around the corner!! I just love everything that comes with this glorious holiday!! This is just one of the many creations that I will have for you in the coming weeks! Enjoy!!
I used K. Andrew stamps as I usually do!! WINTER WISHES to be exact, oh...Just a little FYI: I did not ink the "S" in Holidays, that is how I got just the word Holiday! I call it selective inking!!
It's a "Hoot-alicious" Tuesday here at The Craftin Mama. I am so thankful to be able to do what I do! Not only do I have a wonderful Husband and family, I get to create!!
I recently purchased the "Hoot n Holler" Cricut Light cart...OMG...this cart is tooo cute and so today's card was made using it.!!
Can you see the bling on her ear's and hand??
I cut her at 3" and the branch at 3 1/2" (the branch had an extra leaf but I cut it off to fit my card) using Megan Elizabeth's Paper Layerz...I love this paper, it cuts like butter!! The backround is paper from the Provo Craft Celebrations paper pack andeverything is layered onto craft cardstock. I used my "Owly Hoo" stamp set from K. Andrew Designs and stamped the "Hoot-alicious!".
Happy Sunday everyone!! Hope you are enjoying another wonderful day in this thing we call life!! Today's cahllenge was to create a project with hot beverage theme: coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc... Because I am awaiting an order from Kristal that has my "Coffee & Tea for You and Me" in it I had to be creative with what stamps I already own, so I decided to use the "Warm" and the "delightful" from Winter Wishes stamp set and the "&" from Fall-o-ween" stamp set!!
I LOVE Kristal's stamps because they are soooo versatile!! You can mix and match words or phrases from any of her set's!! Plus, Kristal is such a generous soul, for every set that she sell's, she donates $1 to a charity specific to that set. Just this past Friday, Kristal launched the new set's she just designed for this month, so make sure you head on over to the Getting Cricky shop and check out all the new one's and ohh...pick up some set's for yourself, I know you won't regret it!!
Here is what I came up with for today's challenge. The weather has been cold here on the East coast for a few weeks now and all I want is something warm to drink!! What better than a nice warm cup of coffee or tea??
I hope you all have a "Warm & delightful" Sunday!!
Yayyyyy...This is sooo exciting!! I hope you can join us tonight for the live Ustream tonight with Kristal and our Getting Cricky family!! '
It will be ton's of fun, plus Kristal is going to introduce the new members of our team!! Be sure to check in at the following times to the link below.
The Blog Hop will begin right after the live Ustream so be sure to head on over to Kristal's blog to start, from there you will be able to visit the rest of the team.
Okay, so for today's project I didn't make a card or a layout, instead I decided to make ahhhhh.....wait for it....ready.....Washer necklaces!!! Ohhhh...I just love the way these came out and can you say EASY??!! Here check it out for yourself.
I know these are not the best photo's and it's hard to see the glittler but trust me they shimmer so nicely!!
All you need to make these great necklaces are: really big washers, scrapbook paper (any pattern you choose), Mod Podge, Glassy Accents, glitter, ribbon and of course K.Andrew Design stamps!!
Okay, so you start by picking whatever paper strikes your fancy, you then trace the washer on the back side of the paper (so you don't have pencil marks on the front of the paper), then you cut out the washer shape and the hole in the middle, add any stamped images if you desire. Add Mod Podge to the flat side of the washer (one side is smoother and the edges are rounded, this is the side that will sit on your body) and attach the paper to the washer's unfinished/flat side. Once the glue/Mod Podge is dry you apply the Glossy Accent on top and sprinkle with a little bit of glitter. Let is dry for a few hours, then cut some ribbon and loop it through the hole in the washer. Voila...You have a simple, inexpensive and good looking necklace!!
Okay, so I know that I said that I didn't have a card or layout for you to today but I fibbed!! While waiting for the Glossy Accent to dry on my necklaces I put together a quick little card!!
Whoo Loves you?
Isn't the little owl too cute??
